Darcy was raised in a tough home. Their father was a cruel man by the name of Fenrir Greyback. They were not recognized as his children, but they knew they were. She lived with her stepmother of sorts - Fenrir had impregnated her mother and, a year into Darcy's life, had also killed her. Her mother's best friend volunteered to raise Darcy - and two years later, became involved with the very same man that had put her in this sutuation. Fenrir did not see the family much, but when he did, he was cruel. Most times, he would begin beating their mother. Darcy would mouth off, provoking him with her barbed tongue, and when Fenrir went to hit her too, her brother would step in to take the beatings, though she never let him go it alone. He took the most of the beating because he would not let her near, but she would get enough to scar her.

She went to school where she was well liked and she flourished. Her grades never reflected her true success, however.

During the summer of her sixth year, her father returned, worse than usual. This time, she and her brother would have nothing of it. She tied him up when he got drunk, and the two dragged him off, intending to put him on a cargo ship headed to America. He broke loose however and a fight commenced. Her brother killed Fenrir.

Their mother faded quickly that summer. Too much hardship for her gentle constitution. She died by the end of the year and Darcy dropped out of school, though she insisted her half brother remain. However, school was never his strong suit. She dropped out after her sixth year; her brother dropped out at the start of his fifth.

They remained in their family home until they were kicked out. They were both working basic jobs, so they didn't have much money. They found an advertisement for cheap rooms in a nearby home and moved in, where they met one of the world's most dangerous vampires, Dante. Naturally, that didn't keep Darcy from taking her place as head of the household and bossing him around.

For the past four years, the three have worked to rid the world of crime. They lived in a pretty dangerous neighborhood, and they took down criminals there, but continued on to other parts of the country. Darcy is always making sure her little family never goes too far - she is the conscious of the group. As the Death Eaters begin to recruit Dante, she encourages him to join as a spy, as she and her brother ally themselves to the Order.
