Skuli Rowle

Skuli is the only son of one of the most violent and headstrong Death Eaters there was: Thorfinn Rowle. During the Battle of Hogwarts, all protective fields had been brought down...including the anti-disapparation charm. As soon as his captor's attentions were drawn to the duel between Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort, Rowle had disapparated away from the battle. Stopping only to gather the only person he had ever loved, his wife; Rowle went on the run, his wife in tow. Despite a massive manhunt, Rowle (showing a mental brilliance which had never been revealed whilst under the Dark Lord's command) and his wife remained undetected for three years before Rowle had been forced to turn himself in.

It was the pregnancy of his wife which finally lead to Rowle's demise. She was having difficulty in childbirth, and was slowly dying. Possessing severely limited knowledge in the healing arts, and his wife unable to travel alone, Rowle showed up suddenly at St Mungo's carrying his wife in his arms. In return for saving the life of his wife and son, Rowle surrendered his wand peacefully to the Auror, Ron Weasley, who had come to collect him. His final request before being brought into Azkaban, was for his wand to be returned to his family after his trial and certain execution. Harry Potter, seeing the love this man felt for his family, made certain that this request would be fulfilled...but that was as far as his persuading could go. The ministry absolutely refused to allow Rowle to live...not after all the deaths which had been committed by his hand.

Rowle's execution had been very public, as the ministry had been very excited to finally capture the final Death Eater who had been able to escape their grasp for three years. This very public death devastated Rowle's wife, and needing someone to place the blame on...she began to harbor a deep hatred for the Auror who had arrested Rowle: Ron Weasley. She vowed that he would pay for this act with the lives of his family.

Skuli grew up under this hatred his mother harbored for Ron, and he promised her that someday his father would be avenged...and it would be with his father's own wand. Thorfinn's wand took to Skuli as he were his father himself. Though their personalities were polar opposites, the vinewood wand reacted strongly to their depth in character and their vigor in working towards their goals.

Harry Potter has taken care of Ron Weasley for Skuli, however he is certain that there still must be some Weasleys around. Being robbed of his initial plot of vengeance, Skuli has made the eradication of the entire Weasley traitorous bloodline his goal.
